PLANNING COMMISSION

CALLED MEETING

February 21, 2006

7:00 p.m. 

The Mayor and Planning Commission members met in called session in the Eagleville City Hall, City of Eagleville, Rutherford County, Tennessee,  February 21, 2006, 7:00 p.m.  The following members were present: 

Mr. Don McCord, Chairman                            Dr. Nolan S. Barham, Sr., Mayor

Mr. Bobby Turner, Member                             Mr. Bryan Collins, City Planner

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Don McCord. 

CITIZEN’S INPUT

  None.  

complete zoning map and zoning ordinance

            Discussion was held concerning the zoning classification within the city limits of Eagleville.  A consensus was reached on various items of the zoning ordinance as presented by Bryan Collins and discussed by the Council.  (A COPY IS ON FILE AT CITY HALL).  Updates on the Zoning Ordinance and Map were given to the members of the Planning Commission .  Updated pages were left to distribute to the City Council.  No further business was discussed. 

            Mr. Collins stated that the Planning Commission will give the City Council their recommendations for the Zoning Ordinance.  The City Council will go through three readings and hold a public hearing.  Councilman Harold Vincion made the motion to send the Zoning Ordinance and Map to the City Council for approval.  Mayor Barham seconded.  The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. 

Next Meeting

            All members of the Planning Commission agreed that the next regular scheduled meeting would be Monday, March 6, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall.             

ADJOURNMENT

            With no further business to discuss, Mayor Barham moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Chairman Don McCord.  The meeting was dismissed by unanimous vote at 7:48 p.m.
