PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING 7:00 p.m. The Mayor and Planning Commission members met in regular session in the Eagleville City Hall, City of Eagleville, Rutherford County, Tennessee, Monday, November 6, 2006, 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: Mr. Don McCord, Chairman Dr. Nolan S. Barham, Sr., Mayor Harold Vincion, Secretary/Councilman Bobby Turner, Member Mr. Bo Logan, City Planner GUESTSCharlie King CALL TO ORDERThe meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Don McCord. CITIZEN’S INPUT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chairman McCord asked for a motion to approve the minutes for the October 9, 2006, Planning Commission meeting. Councilman Harold Vincion made the motion and Bobby Turner seconded. The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. Chairman McCord asked for a motion to approve the minutes for the October 26, 2006, Planning Commission called meeting. Mayor Barham made the motion and Councilman Vincion seconded. The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. business Items Charlie King Mr. Charlie King presented the Planning Commission with a diagram plan for his property on Clark Street. He also informed Bobby that the lot he bought from him on Clark Street was still in his (Bobby Turner’s) name. He stated that he would tear down the old car wash and like to build a 40 x 60 metal building with no restrooms and a concrete floor. His primary use for the building would be storage. (SEE MAP ATTACHED) Mayor Barham made the motion to approve the new building and Councilman Harold Vincion seconded. The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. M.A. Smitty – Rezoning Mayor Barham told the Planning Commission that the City Council had passed Mr. Smitty’s zoning request on the first reading. There will be a public hearing held on November 16, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. along with the second reading. Any Other Business None. State and federal highway annexation Ordinance # 06-02 Annexation of Highways passed the City Council on the second reading at the October meeting. There was a public hearing held on October 26, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. FEMA Flood plan – Bo Logan Mayor Barham reported that City Council had the second reading at the October Council meeting. There was also a public hearing held on October 26, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. New sub-division regulations Mr. Bo Logan started the review of the new sub-division regulations beginning with 4-103.3 – Right-of-Way Width Dedication on Existing Public Ways. The remainder of time was spent with corrections and discussions regarding certain aspects of the regulations. Mr. Bo Logan will continue with Article V at the December meeting. Next Meeting All members of the Planning Commission agreed that the next regular scheduled meeting would be Monday, December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall. ADJOURNMENTWith no further business to discuss, Mayor Barham moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Vincion. The meeting was dismissed by unanimous vote at 8:28 p.m.
