PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

January 22, 2007

7:00 p.m. 

The Mayor and Planning Commission members met in regular session in the Eagleville City Hall, City of Eagleville, Rutherford County, Tennessee, Monday, January 22, 2007, 7:00 p.m.  The following members were present: 

Don McCord, Chairman                                   Nick Duke, Vice Chairman

Dr. Nolan S. Barham, Sr., Mayor                     Harold Vincion, Secretary/Councilman 

Mr. Bo Logan, City Planner

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Don McCord.   

CITIZEN’S INPUT

None.  

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

            Mayor Barham made a motion to approve the minutes for November and December, Planning Commission meeting.  Councilman Harold Vincion seconded.  The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote.

Coffey Annexation

Bo submitted an ordinance for annexation of Coffee property  Parcel #’s 35.02, 35.04, and 35.05 on Hwy 41-A, to the Planning Commission for approval.  He stated that he would e-mail it to Michelle for the first reading at the City Council Meeting, January 25, 2007. 

Coffey Resolution

Mayor Barham made the motion to approve the resolution of services for the Coffey property to accept the ordinance and recommend it to the City Council.  Vice-Chairman Nick Duke seconded.     

New Meeting Time

Chairman Don McCord asked for a motion to change the Planning Commission meeting times to 6:30 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m.  Councilman Harold Vincion made the motion to accept and Vice-Chairman Nick Duke seconded.  The motion passed unanimously.   

Permit Form  

Mayor Barham talked to the Planning Commission about a form for any new building permit, excluding SFD (Single Family Dwelling), to be completed, approved and signed by the Planning Commission before anyone can get a building permit.  This would eliminate any confusion and Michelle would know right away if it was legal.   

NEW SUB-DIVISION REGULATIONS

            no discussion.   

Next Meeting

            All members of the Planning Commission agreed that the next regular scheduled meeting would be Monday, February 5, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall.    

ADJOURNMENT

            With no further business to discuss, Mayor Barham moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Vice-Chairman Nick Duke.  The meeting was dismissed by unanimous vote at 8:00 p.m.
