PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING 6:30 p.m.
The Mayor and Planning Commission members met in regular session in the Eagleville City Hall, City of Eagleville, Rutherford County, Tennessee, Monday, February 5, 2007, 6:30 p.m. The following members were present:
Don McCord, Chairman Nick Duke, Vice Chairman Dr. Nolan S. Barham, Sr., Mayor Harold Vincion, Secretary/Councilman Mr. Robert Turner Mr. Bo Logan, City Planner GUESTSLanny Turner Councilman Terry Zumbro Larry McElroy, Director for CUD Mr. James C. Hailey, PE, consulting engineer for CUD Mr. David Jones, Waste water Manager, CUD Mrs. Lynnisse Patrick, Advisory Board member, CUD CALL TO ORDERThe meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Don McCord. CITIZEN’S INPUT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chairman Don McCord asked for a motion to approve the minutes for January, 2007 meeting. Councilman Harold Vincion made the motion and Vice-Chairman Nick Duke seconded. The motion was passed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. business Items Denny Tittle Mr. Denny Tittle presented a request for a zoning change from Residential to Commercial for his residence at 1027 N. Main Street. Since our City Planner was late arriving due to an accident on I24, Mayor Barham suggested that this be brought at a Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 6:15 p.m. on March 5, 2007. After Mr. Logan arrived, he informed everyone that this could be done at the regular meeting of the Planning Commission. Bobby Turner proposed preliminary plat Bobby Turner presented a preliminary plat for 87 new homes, with most of the homes being serviced with a Step Septic System Treatment Facility. After questions regarding streets and the septic system, a motion was made to approve the Preliminary Plat by Vice-Chairman Nick Duke and seconded by Councilman Harold Vincion. The motion carried 4-0, with Bobby Turner abstaining. A copy of the preliminary plat is on file at City Hall. Guest larry mcelroy, cud director chairman Don McCord introduced Larry McElroy, CUD Director, who gave a PowerPoint presentation and up-to-date information on the Step System. There was much discussion and Larry answered numerous questions regarding the S.T.E.P. process. A hard copy of the slide presentation is attached. The copy of the PowerPoint is on file at City Hall with the minutes. Next Meeting All members of the Planning Commission agreed that the next regular scheduled meeting would be Monday, March 5, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall. ADJOURNMENTWith no further business to discuss, Mayor Barham moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Member Bobby Turner. The meeting was dismissed by unanimous vote at 8:35 p.m.
