MINUTES OF A CALLED SESSION

OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EAGLEVILLE , TENNESSEE  

June 26, 2006

The City Council of the Town of Eagleville, Rutherford County, Tennessee, met at a called session at 7:00 p.m. on June 26, 2006, in Eagleville City Hall with Mayor Nolan S. Barham, Sr., presiding.

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was Called to Order by Mayor Nolan Barham.   

ROLL CALL

            A roll call was taken by City Recorder Michelle Bennett.  All members were present except Councilman Smitty and Councilman Greg Buchanan.  Councilman Buchanan arrived at 7:04 p.m. 

RECESS CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING

            Mayor Barham recessed the City Council meeting and called to order the Public Hearing.             

CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC HEARING

Third and Final Reading of the 2006-2007 Budget & Tax Rate Ordinance #06-01

            Mayor Barham asked for comments from any citizen.  No response.     

ADJOURNMENT OF PUBLIC HEARING            

CALL BACK TO ORDER CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING 

OLD BUSINESS

Third and Final Reading of the 2006-2007 Budget & Tax Rate Ordinance #06-01

            Mayor Barham entertained a motion to adopt the 2006-2007 Budget & Tax Rate Ordinance #06-01 on the third and final reading.  Councilman Terry Zumbro made the motion, and it was seconded by Vice-Mayor Ronnie Hill.  After discussion a roll call vote was administered by Michelle Bennett and the motion passed unanimously.   

ADJOURNMENT

With no further business to discuss, Councilman David Rigsby made the motion to adjourn and Councilman Greg Buchanan seconded.  By unanimous vote, the meeting was adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
