Fire Safety Awareness

October is Fire Safety Month. On October 22, 2009 the Eagleville Fire Department went to the Eagleville School and gave Fire Safety demontrations for students Pre-K through 5th Grade.  Chief Martin (along with several other Firefighters) explained Fire safety tips, demonstrated tools, showed the students what a fighter will look like in full gear, and, answered many questions.  The Department also handed out to each student a reflective Halloween bag with a Fire Prevention handbook and other items inside.

The Chief and Firefighters enjoyed the visit...and want to thank the teachers for sharing their time and the students for their attention and eagerness to learn Fire Safety.
