Inspection Fees & Information
Inspection Fees are collected at the time the permit is obtained, and all regular inspections are
included in the final cost of permit. Fees begin at (but are not limited to) $100. If reinspections
are required there will be additional fees.
- SFD should typically have three inspections
- Footing
or Slab Inspection
- Framing Inspection
- Final Inspection
Garage will have either two or sometimes three inspections - Footing or Slab Inspection
- Framing Inspection (only if the garage
will have insulated walls or finished out on the interior)
- Final Inspection
Storage Building (not on a permanent foundation) Remodels, Finishing Expandable Areas
- Framing Inspection
- Final
Inspection
Deck, Porch, Covered Patio, Carport Demolition Temporary Parking, Portables, Tents,
Safety, Mobile Homes, Pools, and Signs
Moved In House - Footing Inspection
- Final Inspection
Plumbing
and Gas
( new construction
- this is done at the same time of other inspections, and is not counted as separate inspection fee charges)
- Slab (stub out) Inspection-
Plumbing only
- Framing (rough-in) Inspection
- Final Inspection
Commercial - Footing
and/or Slab Inspection ( may have more than one inspection – depending on the size
of the building and how many pours they may have to do because of the size of the structure)
- Framing Inspection usually just one but could be more
- Final Inspection
Correction notices are given to the builder or left at the site. A re-inspection
fee is usually not charged but can be charged if the builder has not made the corrections and has requested more inspections
without correcting the problems. Usually this will not be done until the 3rd re-inspection/correction.
This fee will be collected by the City of Eagleville. The building inspector or administrative assistant
will notify the city recorder of the issue. The building inspector will notify the builder of the re-inspection
fee.
